Ciliate Blue Art Print

from SGD 35.00

The butterfly is a flying flower; the flower is a tethered butterfly. ~ Ponce Denis Ecouchard Lebrun, French lyric poet.

The most prominent feature of a Ciliate Blue butterfly is its eye on the hindwing underside. When resting, its wings fold up, revealing its notable black spot. A shy little one with a flair for erratic and rapid flight paths, making it difficult to capture on the lens.

We draw inspiration from our community gardens, pepper with some imagination and string short narratives that complete the art piece like a page in a short story picture book. Who knows, maybe one day we might have enough short stories to beautifully curate the lives in our community gardens.
